University Research Park publishes "The First Fifteen Years: 1984-1999", a retrospective about the award winning research park
March 7, 2008, Madison, WI - University Research Park, established in 1984 and home to more than 114 companies that employ over 4,000 people, today announced the publication of "The First Fifteen Years: 1984-1999" a retrospective about the award winning research park.

The non-profit, internationally recognized research and technology park has 34 buildings with more than 1.5 million square feet of office and laboratory space used by a broad range of start-up companies, many of which are focused on biotechnology.
The publication, written by Arthur Hove leads readers through the park's first 15 years, spotlighting the innovative efforts that brought the park from idea to reality, and subsequently earned URP the first
Outstanding Research Park Award, awarded by the International Association of University Related Research Parks (AURRP) in 1996.
