07 Aug BioForward seeks Chief Executive Officer
BIOforward, the member driven, Wisconsin affiliate of the national Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) today announced it has initiated a national search for a Chief Executive Officer. The Executive Board has decided to elevate the previously titled Executive Director position to a Chief Executive Officer title in response to Wisconsin’s continued growth across the broad cross-section of life science specialties, including drug development, medical devices, research tools, biofuels, food and agriculture. The successful candidate will be accountable to a Board of Directors, which is seeking a new CEO who has experience with change management, growing revenue and advancing a strategic agenda within a trade association, member cooperative or not for profit setting.
Gayle Kirkpatrick, Board President, in conjunction with fellow BIOforward Directors, has selected Board members Joe Hammer, of GE Capital, and Bill Domann, of The Domann Organization, to Co-Chair the Search Committee efforts.
