Bunker Labs and gBeta add accelerators

Madison already has a variety of programs to help would-be entrepreneurs get their business ideas off the ground, including gener8tor, Madworks, and the UW’s D2P Discovery to Product program.

Now, Bunker Labs will add to the mix with its Innovator Academy in Madison. The 14-week program is aimed at veterans of the U.S. military and will start its first class in mid-September.

“Our program is focused on providing veterans with world-class mentorship, access to investment capital and assistance in acquiring paying customers,” said Michael Ertmer, executive director of Bunker Labs Wisconsin.

WEDC is providing a $95,000 grant to match private-sector contributions including those from JPMorgan Chase & Co.; ATT Wisconsin; and UW-Madison’s University Research Park. Read more …
