10 Apr Wisconsin added nearly 4,000 tech jobs in 2016, report says

Wisconsin tech companies added an estimated 3,909 jobs in 2016 — a 4 percent increase — according to Cyberstates 2017, an annual analysis of the nation’s technology industry by CompTIA, a leading, worldwide technology association.

That pegs Wisconsin with 101,542 tech employees and ranks the state 20th for tech industry employment.
The average annual pay for a tech industry employee in Wisconsin was $79,500 in 2016, substantially higher than the average state wage of $45,600, the report says. Read more …
