Stem Cell Products Reveals Stem-cell Breakthrough
UW-Madison stem-cell pioneer James Thomson and his colleagues have discovered a way to use human embryonic stem cells to create components of human blood. Stem Cell Products, a Research Park tenant is getting $1 million in state grants and loans to help manufacture the red blood cells and platelets and bring them to market.
