SBDC: Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP)

ETP is an intensive business-planning training program designed to help participants who want to start a new business, grow an existing business, or make a substantial business pivot that requires viewing the business with a new perspective. The focus of the program is to help you complete a comprehensive “rough draft” of your business plan in the form of a written workbook. Each session of class will help you learn business terminology and work toward putting your ideas on paper so that, by the end of class, you have made significant progress toward launching your business or writing a more comprehensive business plan.

High-tech small businesses: Apply for 19th round of SBIR Advance funding

This is the 19th round of SBIR Advance funding dedicated by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation since SBIR Advance began in 2014.

Tech Council calling for early-stage company applications

Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship lunch: Aaron Olver oversees University Research Park which supports early-stage and growth-oriented business in a range of sectors. He previously served as Madison’s director of economic development, spearheaded Wisconsin’s economic development efforts and was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Aaron graduated with honors from UW in economics and was selected as a Rhodes Scholar and attended Oxford University.
