It was 25 years ago this fall that the UW Board of Regents approved pursuing the creation of University Research Park. That anniversary was marked during the Nov. 5-6 Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium and celebrated in a Nov. 17 editorial in the Wisconsin State Journal.

Company Overview

Quintessence Biosciences, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on development of novel protein-based therapeutics as anti-cancer agents. The Company's Lead Candidate, QBI-139, is based on the Company's EVadeT Ribonuclease Technology, which consists of a human pancreatic enzyme, Ribonuclease I engineered to kill cancer cells. The EVadeT Ribonuclease technology is covered by patents acquired by the Company through an exclusive license with the University of Wisconsin.
