Wisconsin is an innovative state. Although discussions of “innovation” are usually directed toward internet startups and biotech companies, creative innovation in Wisconsin involves many industries including manufacturing, the paper industry, sustainable agriculture, life sciences, education, nonprofits, and health care information.
The Wisconsin Innovation Awards (WIA) seek to celebrate and inspire innovation. The WIA highlights and honors the development of groundbreaking and innovative ideas. If it is a transformational idea we want to celebrate it. We hope to encourage an even greater environment of innovation by bringing innovators together from various business sectors (e.g. tech, food, healthcare, agriculture, nonprofits, education, government), and from throughout the state.

The 2021 Wisconsin Innovation Awards will be returning to the Memorial Union for an in-person event in Madison, WI on October 5, 2021 from 5:30 – 7:30 PM.
Schedule
5:30 pm – Networking Reception, Sunset Lounge (Will be held outdoors, weather permitting)
6:30 pm – Awards Ceremony, Shannon Hall
* The Wisconsin Innovation Awards Ceremony will require that all guests be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 and follow all Dane County Public Health and CDC guidelines, including requiring masks indoors. Guests are required to present their official vaccination card (or photo of the card) to gain admission to the event.
