Two $10,000 prizes to be revealed mid-December
The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) has nominated six outstanding UW-Madison technologies for its top prize in innovation, with the two winning teams set to be announced mid-month.
“As UW-Madison’s partner in innovation for nearly a century, WARF receives hundreds of world-class invention disclosures each year,” said Erik Iverson, CEO of WARF. “Our Innovation Awards recognize some of the most exciting early-stage solutions to real-world problems. From human health to a renewable future, these technologies could produce broad benefits for humankind.”
The winning teams are selected by an external group of judges and receive $10,000 awards, split among UW inventors.
