Wisconsin is known for making and growing things. So much of our industrial strength lies in manufacturing and agricultural production. We’re committed to accelerating the next generation of manufacturing, agricultural hardware and energy startups. There is no need to go to the coasts to get a world-class HardTech experience. The 16-week Wisconsin HardTech Accelerator is open to companies throughout the state. With a mix of virtual and in-person meetings, this program will move your hardtech company forward.

The HardTech Accelerator is for you if you’re:

• building a physical product
• working on sensors, hardware, robots, devices, measuring equipment or batteries in the manufacturing industry, food bev and ag industry or energy industry
• preparing an SBIR / STTR application

What to Expect:

• Education: Major content areas include stress testing your business model, developing an elevator pitch, problem discovery interviews, designing for manufacturing and identifying the next stage of funding.
• Networking: Be part of StartingBlock’s vibrant community. Meet other startups and talent from across the State.
• Mentorship: Content experts from around the State will provide insight on prototyping and manufacturing and safety compliance.
• Guidance: Get guidance from experts including VCs, engineering professionals, the Center for Technology Commercialization and the UW Law School’s L&E clinic.

During the 16-week HardTech Accelerator, we will convene in Madison for 6 weekend sessions. The weekend session will be Friday afternoon to Sunday noon. Travel and lodging expenses will be covered.
