About this event:

Join us in celebration of Women’s Herstory Month as we sit down for a conversation with Emily Chang, Emmy Award-winning journalist, anchor and executive producer at Bloomberg TV and author of the national bestseller, “Brotopia: Breaking Up the Boys’ Club of Silicon Valley.” In this talk moderated by American Family Insurance DreamBank Manager, Natalie Healy, Emily will touch on topics such as the Global Women’s Movement, women in business, work-life balance, ways that anyone can support women, her own dream pursuit and advice for others who are pursuing their own dreams.

Emily Chang is a five-time regional Emmy award winner born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and began her career as a news producer at NBC in New York. Emily went on to serve as a reporter at KNSD, NBC’s affiliate in San Diego, California. Today, she’s an executive producer and host of the daily Bloomberg Technology show and the interview series Studio 1.0. Emily also sits on the board of BUILD, a national non-profit organization that uses entrepreneurship to excite and propel disengaged, low-income students through high school to college success.
