Eight startups — including five in Wisconsin — have been selected to compete in the 2023 Summerfest Tech pitch competition.
The competition is on June 28 at Milwaukee’s Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. Participating startups will compete for a piece of the $50,000 cash prize.
Young Enterprising Society, a Milwaukee organization that runs an early-stage entrepreneurship accelerator program called The Blueprint, is producing the pitch competition. Molson Coors Beverage Co. is the event’s sponsor.
Startups from more than 12 states and 20 countries applied to participate in this year’s pitch competition, representing a 70% growth in applicants, according to Summerfest Tech.
