The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation has awarded over $80 million to UW-Madison and the Morgridge Institute for Research for the 2017-2018 school year, so researchers can continue to “dream big.”
“WARF invests in the research and extraordinary ideas of UW-Madison. The annual grant is one way we are helping our campus partners continue to dream big and solve the most pressing problems of our time.” – Erik Iverson, WARF Managing Director
UW-Madison was given $61.9 million by WARF and Morgridge was given $19 million. This does not include WARF’s in-kind support for patents, licensing and other expenses.
“WARF invests in the research and extraordinary ideas of UW-Madison,” said managing director Erik Iverson. “The annual grant is one way we are helping our campus partners continue to dream big and solve the most pressing problems of our time.”
