The Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship at the Wisconsin School of Business was the recipient of the 2021 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Teaching and Pedagogical Innovation Award at the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) conference in Baltimore on October 15-16, 2021. This award honors a center that has developed a significant original innovation in entrepreneurship pedagogy.

The Weinert Center was recognized for the Morgridge Entrepreneurial Bootcamp (MEB)’s innovative one-week, non-credit program in technology commercialization and entrepreneurship for graduate students and postdocs in the STEM fields. This immersive entrepreneurship program is designed for University of Wisconsin-Madison students who are interested in learning about entrepreneurship and high-impact, technology-driven ventures.
