SUBMISSION DATES - JULY 29 & AUGUST 12. UW–Madison Innovate Week is designed for an audience of campus researchers, inventors, entrepreneurs, social impact innovators, and makers of impactful products. Event goals include raising campus awareness of entrepreneurship and innovation; promoting opportunities, programs and resources for campus innovators; and providing learning and networking opportunities.

Igniter is driven by interviews with real customers and partners. If you haven’t yet spent time on customer interviews to refine product-market fit for your innovation, you may want to consider attending our Innovation to Market (I2M) program first. During Igniter, teams will answer important questions that help shape the development of a sustainable business model to implement the innovation.
The new Piloting Research Innovation & Market Exploration (PRIME) grant program will support critical research needed for commercialization of innovations developed at UW–Madison. Administered by UW–Madison’s Discovery to Product (D2P), successful project awards will be funded from $25,000 to $50,000.
