In honor of national Clinical Trials Day, the UW Clinical Trials Institute is proud to host a virtual conversation with Dr. Sara McCoy, UW School of Medicine and Public Health, and Julianne McGowan, a participant in Dr. McCoy’s Sjögren’s disease clinical trial at UW–Madison.

McGowan is the first person in the world to receive a new treatment for Sjögren’s, which is a disorder that impacts moisture producing glands in the body. Attendees will hear valuable participant and researcher perspectives on participation in clinical trials and learn more about clinical research innovation at UW–Madison and UW Health.
